The regulations of grading systems and cut-off points to the tertiary institutions are so much upsetting.
Imagine a student gets A1 in seven (7) subjects but gets D7 in one of them. And such a student is denied admission because of one D.
Another student, apparently, gets C6 in all subjects and such student receives admission into the University.
Is that test result very valid and measurable?
When we bring these two students together and conduct a test for them even with the same questions, which of them do you think will perform better?
I think some of these regulations must be reviewed.
